New Families

Congratulations on the anticipated birth of your child with Down syndrome!  Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky welcomes you and we are here to answer any questions you may have.

If you are interested in being involved, we would love to have a private meeting or get you introduced to some of our parents.

We would like to provide you with some information, as there are many opportunities and therapies available to assist your family. Through experience, we know early intervention is the key to your child’s success. We understand that right now as a new parent you may be feeling overwhelmed and experiencing many different emotions. You will discover that your child, like any child, will possess their own unique gifts and talents

We would also love to welcome new families moving to the area! We would be glad to give you any recommendations and assistance to make your transition to a new town go as easy as possible!
